We really made a beeline for Sweden to finish some repairs and so spent only one night on way in Denmark. We noted over the two days of motoring across that the buoys were much poorer than the fine example the Germans had given. Buoys were quite small, usually not labeled and sometimes quite ambiguous in appearance. The Danish practice is to only turn lights on during the night hours which does leave one wondering about buoyage identities when visibility deteriorates. We were using German sport charts and found these less than might be desired.
